Abstract:
Friendship is the cream and most loveable relationship among human
relationships, even it could be formed between the parents or the relatives of blood and between two unknown persons. It just demands care and love from each other
to build up the relationship. The philosophers were charmed with the beauty of friendship and they considered it into a philosophical study. This research paper
aims to examine whether there is any morality in friendship and solidarity and whether it has any workability in our social life. In this scenario, I have taken the
philosophical standpoint of the friendship of great philosophers like Plato, Aristotle and Kant. Gadamers concept of solidarity has also a special space in my paper.
